This time, we will continue to explore and enjoy what the eye catches when you stop to look around in these remote areas. Above is an Antarctic mountain in the middle of a huge glacier flowing into the ocean. Many landscape photos are at their best when the sun is low and to the side.
This post is dedicated to my mother, who passed away several days ago and always wondered where I had acquired the Arctic Fever bug.

A Northern Elk enjoying the serenity of Spitsbergen (Svalbard), with the sun low behind him.
Ooh, I love playing with my mama! (Katmai Park, Alaska).
But where has she gone now?
My daughter, then at 12, learning about The Good Life (Inner Passage, Canada).
When it's time to relax and enjoy the view - There's nothing like the Arctic Ocean, with ice floating and the midnight sun above. (Ellesmere Island, Canada)
Yet sometimes the ocean calls for magic action! These are good opportunities to experience the vastness and bigness of nature's creation. I took this picture, then hurried up to kayak there, too! (Antarctic Ocean).
Summer is coming and with it - The Arctic vacation season. We will explore that region in upcoming posts. In the meanwhile, read about the tips of the icebergs by clicking here.

May your mother rest in peace, Eyal. She was lucky to have had you.
The first picture in this blog is remarkably beautiful. Wish I had been there with you.
